Carol Duchamp's Water Media for Self-Expression and Mixed Media painting classes explore non-traditional approaches to watercolor, acrylic and mixed media painting including collage and bookmaking. Wet-into-wet techniques offer the amateur and professional painter the broadest expressive range. Classes cover wetting the paper or canvas, color saturation and gradation, brushwork, compositional energy, atmospheric effects, edge tinting, textual elegance and the use of watercolor crayon and acrylic inks. Whether your work moves in a realistic or abstract direction, innovative teaching methods will build self-confidence and enhance your skill. Carol is trained as a transformative arts facilitator.
